Judy Ann and Ryan’s Secret Wedding

The news of the marriage of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo that happened on April 28, 2009 at Batangas shocked many people who were waiting for their formal announcement of their wedding day. This is a true surprise because earlier news updates said that they will exchange vows on May 2, 2009.

This is enough proof that Juday and Ryan have all the intentions to make their wedding day a secret. On that day (April 28, 2009) at 7:00 am, only 80 people who were able to witness the church wedding at San Juan Nepomuceno church at the town of San Juan. The atmosphere of romance at the said venue was so intense that moved some of the guests into tears. After the church ceremonies, guests were given the time to freshen up before attending the dinner reception at Balai-Laiya Resort at Balai-Anilao which was a three-hour riding distance from the church either by a car or by a motorized banca. The brunch reception was composed of native Filipino delicacies such as tapa, longaniza, daing na bangus, danggit and tocino. The security measures imposed was so tight that even guests were not allowed to bring in their phones and cameras. The wedding invitation was undeniably a product of the couple’s wide array of imagination. The invitation came with the message “Eto na ‘to. Inuman na! Punta kang nakaputi. Sekreto lamang natin ‘to ah” on it and was delivered via mail. The invite also came with a left pair of white slipper. The other pair of the slipper was claimed later at the wedding reception and ended as the official footwear of the guests at the reception area. The celebration ended past midnight that day.

The wedding of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo who was engaged last May 11, 2008 was indeed a surprise to everyone. It came without “warning”. And for those who were lucky enough to witness the long anticipated exchange of vows, praises were given by them to the most creative wedding affair ever.
